As a female solopreneur, can you be a little (or a lot) hard on yourself? Do you tend to focus on all the things you haven’t done? All the things you haven’t achieved? All the progress you’re not making?

If you answered yes to any of this, read on.

It’s super common for women to be hard on themselves – even more so when you work on your own and you don’t have any work buddies/ cheerleaders rooting for you.

Why is being hard on yourself particularly toxic? I see these habits SO often in my 1:1 coaching clients and its characteristic of a lack mindset.

If a lack mindset goes unchecked it will limit your authentic success, it will make you feel sh*t, it will lead to self-doubt, low confidence, and it will prevent you from being able to serve others to the best of your ability.

One of the great ways to start proactively shifting yourself out of this mindset is to make sure you’re giving yourself that pat on the back and acknowledging all your hard work.

Sure, you may have 1000 things left on your to-do list (as female solopreneurs I’m afraid to say the list is never-ending) BUT whatever you did that day deserves to be acknowledged.

ACTION: at the end of every day, mindfully tick off what you achieved, no matter how big or small. Really feel into the effort you put in and be proud of every single little step.

Each step makes up the whole and helps you to climb that mountain.

THE RESULTS; this small but impactful exercise will start shifting your mindset towards an abundant space and, particularly if you work on your own, your mindset is EVERYTHING!

You will start building your confidence and you will also start to notice how far you’ve come.

Give this a try and let me know how you get on.
